Who this is for. Anyone running their house off extension leads and adaptors.
Adding sockets is not a big job and plenty of firms will not book it. We do, because small jobs done well are how people find out whether they trust you with a big one.
The socket on the wall is the cheap part. The cost sits in the cable route: whether we can reach an existing circuit sensibly, whether floors or ceilings have to come up, and what has to be made good afterwards. We work that out before quoting so the number holds.
Daisy-chained adaptors behind a TV or under a desk are one of the most common causes of the overheating we get called out to. Adding a proper double socket costs less than the call out that follows.
A photo of the wall and the nearest existing socket usually does it.
Adding load to a circuit that is already near capacity is how faults start.
Chased and filled, or surface run in trunking if you prefer no mess.
Minor works certificate issued for the record.
There is a minimum job value, and we will tell you what it is on the phone. If you have a list of small things, doing them in one visit is far better value than one at a time.
